Since launching our first 5 non-formal primary schools in 2017, SSD has successfully educated over 15,000 children across Bangladesh.
We believe that education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. However, in many marginalized and rural communities, children are forced to drop out due to extreme poverty, lack of nearby facilities, or the need to contribute to family income.
Our Education and Youth Development program bridges this gap. We don't just teach children how to read and write; we provide a holistic learning environment that includes digital literacy, life skills, and vocational training for older youth, ensuring they are prepared for the modern workforce.

Comprehensive educational and skill-building solutions designed to empower the youth.
School Support & Retention
We provide textbooks, uniforms, school bags, and monthly stipends to over 1,200 vulnerable students. Combined with community counseling and parent engagement, our retention program has reduced dropout rates by 40% in target regions.
Computer Training Center
Our dedicated Computer Training Centers in Dhaka, offer modern workstations, reliable internet, and structured curricula. Over 3,000+ students have completed courses ranging from basic computing to advanced software applications.
Youth Skill Development
Going beyond the basics, we train advanced learners in graphic design, web development, digital marketing, and freelancing platforms (Upwork, Fiverr)—opening doors to the $1B+ Bangladeshi freelancing economy.
Career Guidance Sessions
Through partnerships with professionals and industry experts, we organize career fairs, counseling sessions, and aptitude assessments—helping young minds discover their passion and chart realistic paths toward fulfilling careers.
ASSET Training Program
Our ASSET (Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation) Training Program delivers industry-certified, NSDA-aligned skill development courses. From tailoring and electrical works to beauty care and mobile repairing—we prepare youth for immediate employment with hands-on training by certified trainers.
Digital Literacy Training
In a world where digital fluency is essential, we ensure no youth is left behind. Our Digital Literacy program teaches MS Office, internet navigation, email, online safety, and digital citizenship—empowering rural students with the tools to compete in tomorrow's economy.
